What It Is: With a DIY Frame Kit, your painting arrives rolled up in a tube. Along with it, you get everything you need to stretch and frame the artwork yourself! Once you receive your kit, it’s time to bring your creative side out and assemble the frame at home.

Why Choose It? The DIY option is typically more affordable due to its compact shipping size. This can be a great choice for those looking for a budget-friendly solution.

Limitations: Not every painting can be rolled up. Thick layers of oil paint or paintings with 3D texture (think raised brushstrokes) need extra care, and may not fit the rolling process.

Installation: How to hang canvas on wall

1.Unrolling the Canvas:

Carefully remove the canvas from the tube.

Lay the canvas flat on a clean surface. You can place it face down on a clean sheet or towel to protect the artwork.

Carefully remove the canvas from the tube.

Lay the canvas flat on a clean surface. You can place it face down on a clean sheet or towel to protect the artwork.

3.Stretching the Canvas (Optional but Recommended):

For a professional look, you may want to stretch the canvas onto a wooden frame (stretcher bars).

You can purchase stretcher bars at an art supply store and follow online tutorials or take the canvas to a professional framer for stretching.

4.Hanging the Canvas:

Without Stretching:If you prefer not to stretch the canvas, you can hang it directly by attaching it to the wall with strong adhesive hooks or clips. Make sure the wall and the adhesive are clean and dry.

With Stretching:Once the canvas is stretched, you can use picture hooks, nails, or screws to hang it on the wall. Attach hanging hardware to the back of the wooden frame, such as D-rings and wire.

5.Final Adjustments:

Ensure the painting is level and positioned as desired. Adjust the placement as needed.

If no specific frame is mentioned, the artist will choose an appropriate frame for each painting. Gold and black frames are used most frequently. The reason for using narrow frames is to keep the focus on the painting itself, rather than the frame.

How are the artworks packaged?

The works are packaged by Arabelart and follow a standardized packaging process.

Ships in a cardboard box

(artwork with stretched/framed) item will ship flat in a sturdy, well-protected cardboard box. We ensure artworks are shipped according to our very high standards. Expect your artwork to arrive with plenty of support packaged in to make its journey as safe as possible as it travels from Arabelart to your home.

Ships in a tube

(Canvas and Frame kit) item will arrive rolled in a dent-resistant tube. This method is especially safe for oversized works, and provides lower shipping costs as well. Rolled works can be easily stretched (for canvas works, i.e. placed onto wooden stretcher bars) and/or framed by a local framer upon arrival. Upon immediate delivery, we highly recommend you send any works on paper directly to your framer for cautious, professional unrolling of the artwork.

How long does delivery take?

Air Express: Generally 5-10 natural days, delays may occur beyond our control

Processing time: 15 natural days to be hand-painted by professional artist. The work you ordered was created by the artist of the original painting.

Who takes care of the delivery?

Depending on the destination and the size of the work, we use delivery companies such as FedEx, DHL or TNT, or specialist art delivery companies.

Which countries do you deliver to?

We primarily deliver across US, covering all regions served by our trusted shipping partners. If you're located outside our main delivery zones, don't hesitate to contact us — we’ll do our best to find a suitable delivery solution for you!

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are included in the price, regardless of destination.
Taxes are included in the product price.

Is the delivery of the artwork insured?

Absolutely! Arabelart organizes and insures the transport of the artwork. You have nothing to worry about and there are no hidden costs.

If I buy several artworks, will they be delivered at the same time?

They may be delivered at the same time (under normal circumstances).

Can I get artworks delivered to a different country or to a different person?

We will deliver to the address you gave on your order. Generally we set the delivery date with the person who will receive the work and whose name you gave. If it’s a surprise or a present, let us know!

We offer a 14-day no-risk return guarantee on all orders. We’ll arrange the collection and return shipment of any artwork purchased from us.

Return Conditions:

* Return requests must be made within 14 days of delivery.

* The artwork must be in its original condition and packaging (or equivalent protective packaging).

* Please handle artworks carefully when unpacking to ensure eligibility for return.

If your artwork arrives damaged, please provide photos of the damage and packaging to help us process the return and improve our shipping process.

If the original packaging is unusable, please repack securely and photograph the shipment for insurance purposes.

*Buyers are responsible for the cost of return shipping, if there is no product quality problem, due to the customer’s personal reasons, such as dislike/not applicable/choose the wrong model…

*If the product is defective, damaged, missing parts, or you receive the wrong item, Arabelart will seek compensation from the shipping company and cover the return shipping costs.
